Pets should be allowed in school Term three week four

WALT persuade other students to agree with our opinion.  This the purpose for my writing.

Success Criteria:

1. I plan for a writing task
2. I write a variety of sentence lengths with different sentence starters
3. Give reasons with detail - use specific words
4. I write most topic and high frequency words correctly.
5. I use capital letters, fullstops, question marks and exclamation marks correctly.
6. Use persuasive language

Pets should be allowed in school.

I strongly believe that pets should be allowed in school.

You can stroke your Cat to make you feel happy.

You can also cuddle your dog to make you feel happy.

To entertain the class you can teach your cat or dog to dance or

you can also teach your kitten to piggyback on your cat.

And your dog could play soccer.

For a treat for the dog, it can do parkour and at the end there will be a treat!

Another point is you can get your dog to get your pencil.

Another reason is birds can put a piece of paper in the rubbish.

Dogs can pull the chain to the blind to open the blind, and for the teacher, the teacher's dog can sniff out lollies in students pockets!

So that is why I think pets should be allowed in school.

Skate boarding! - Week 8

Today is just another normal day at the skate park.
I skate over to the three ramps, I try the big one in the middle!
I'm air born!  I try to pull off a 360, but I fall off my board when I land.

When I'm practicing my grinds, I watch pros do heel flips, impossibles, nollie impossibles and kick flips!
Then I see a guy try to do a caballerial!

Area - Week 6

Area is how to measure space inside a shape, for example on minecraft, if you're building a house.

Hot wheels! - Week 5

If you think hot wheels are just tin cans with wheels, you're wrong.

You never know how much money they are!

Just look at this pink car, you may think it is so lame but it is the most rare hot wheel in the world!

It is worth 100 thousand dollars, and I am serious!

The Summarizing Strategy - Week 4

You use keywords to make your story into a shorter version of a story.
If you copy some elses work that is called plagiarism.
A key word is something that is one of the main things that you use to write your own sentences with.

KEYWORDS - Hot wheels, car.
NOT KEYWORDS - and, to.

SENTENCE:  Hot wheels are toy cars that can go on tracks that can do loops to loops.

Matchstick maths - Week 3

In Room 12 we did maths with match sticks.

We either had to make our names with 50 match sticks and make our name 20cm high, or make our name 1 metre with 50 match sticks.

I chose to make my name 20cm high. 

First I struggled to make my letters 20cm high, but then Mrs Miller helped me to make my letters 20cm by putting another beside it and pushing it up untill it was 20cm.

Doges Epic Adventure - Week 2

Hi! My name is doge, and it is very much lol to meet you.

BUT!!! I very much have a problem!

It’s farting. So mystery!

I came along and met my friend kitten from pre school.

I said to Kitten “Can you very much stop my farts?”

“Ok, just hold still!” said Kitten.

Kitten taped sticky tape to my butt to stop farting, then gave me some medicine to stop farting. 

“I feel weird” I said.

"Ok," said Kitten 

“Now I’ll take the tape off!”

Paaarrp-whoosh!

“Woah, my fart made a portal!”

VWHOOSH!

"Where are we?" said Kitten.

“Well, maybe that giant cola looking bottle can help us!”

“It says, welcome to D-DR PE-PEPP-welcome to DR PEPPER LAND!

“Hey look doge!”

“What?”

There was a big castle in the distance, so doge and kitten went running to the towering castle.

They came to the entrance of the tower and admired it.

“Hey!”, yelled doge. “That bit of the castle looks like my 3d birthday cake.

“Lets go in!”

Inside it looked like a kids magical dream!

Doge looked at the giant candy corns, then looked at the river of Dr Pepper diet, then started drinking it.

But they didn't see the gummy bear king on his throne.

The gummy bear king sent his royal (rather ugly)

chicken guard. "After them!" shouted the king.

Doge and kitten ran for their lives!

But then we found out the chicken thing was so ugly and dum it got distracted by a fly,

A FLY, I MEAN A FLY Full stop!

Doge and kitten scampered out the door as quick as a lightning bolt!

"Kitten, I'll ring up nyan cat." said Doge.

Nyan cat came straight away and ate up the whole kingdom (and the king)

Hey!, said Doge, "my farts are gone!"

"Hop on my back" said nyan cat.

So doge and kitten went on nyan cats back, and flew away to doges mansion to live his famous life he's meant to live.

Minecraft - Week 1

Once upon a time there was an awesome world with pigs and cows and the ender dragon and stuff and stuff! It’s minecraft!

NO.1 Always punch a tree with your bare hands!

NO.2 Craft wooden planks (I mean a stack (64) .)

NO.3 Make a mansion with your wooden planks.

NO.4 If your friend invites you to his PRO world and you see a floating pumpkin with bubbles coming up, and carved face bobbing towards you, give it round about 16 punches roughly.

NO.5 Go back to your world.

NO.6 Craft a crafting table with your wooden planks remainings.    NO.7 Craft all of the basic tools,wood sword, wood pick, wood shovel, wood axe, wood hoe.

NO.8 Make a mine (Mine dirt with shovel and mine stone and ores with pickaxe.) EXPERT TIP. Don’t mine straight down!

NO.9 When it is nighttime and you have your difficulty on beware of mobs, all of the mobs are down here!

NO.10 ENJOY!

Spark eye the Cat

Spark eye the cat wants to get goldfish out of bowl.

Spark eye is my pet cat, he is a creamy gold color.

He is a mischief cat.

Suddenly, he spots my pet goldfish!

He gets in his ready to pounce position.

Ready steady pounce!

He’s flying through the air like a rocket, he is almost there but his head bounces on the stretchy see through cover, he rockets back like it's rewinded then lands safely on all fours!

My cat starts to climb up my bunk bed ladder, then leaps off the top then he lands slightly in front of the fishbowl and tries grabbing my curtain but rips it.

I come in to my room to make a lego movie but then I realise my whole room is wrecked!!!

My curtains are ripped, my lego castle is wrecked, my bed is messed up!

Now I can't make a lego movie any more!

Superhero day

On Friday it was dress up as a superhero day.

I dressed up as patch foot, off warrior cats.

And this is what I looked like.                 This is what patch foot looks like.

His powers are protecting his clan and fighting away bad cats.
